Message: Before I go buying parts I was wandering if someone could give me an idea first.
What happened is that I put a new 3.9 in my 1989 dak(4-wd) and there was a patch of wires that got missed and 4 wires ended up melting to the manifold. The truck worked fine until they melted. After fixing the wires the truck wont start. I`m thinking its the coil.
However I did unplug the the computer looking for the problem. Would that have anything to do with it?

Ok, assuming that you checked and know - are you getting fuel to the injectors? Can you hear the fuel pump operating?

Message: It was the fuel pump. Good guess. A wire to the pump broke somehow. Thanx for the info

Message: No problem. Now take the time to check and fasten all of your loose wiring.
