Subject: whats the diff. with a sport package?

ok i want to change the exhaust
and i can do it all myself
except i want to take it in and have a tail pipe made to head straight out the back

thing is when i called auto zone and advance auto parts neither stocks or can get the Y pipe for a dak my year with the sport package

ok i know the badges and front an rear anti sway bars and in my case no chrome every square inch of the outside is black (94 with 3.9)
but a differance in the exhaust?
anyone ever heard of this or know about it?

just tell them you want a "Y" pipe for a "94 3.9 and NO other info, it will fit.

Sport package = no chome and a few different "stock" dressup items.
the reason for them not having it under a "Sport" listing is it is irrelavent and the idiot reading the catalog does not realize that.

Sorta like them asking you if you "have air" when ordering brake pads: totally irrelavent.

They might be showing the stampede Dakota model in there book, on that one the tailpipe comes out the rear under the bumper because of the flairing that is at the bottom of the rear fender behind the tire.
