 Subject: What kind of Dakota do I have?

I keep seeing people use RC or CC. I was just wondering what they ment. I have a 2001 Dodge Dakota Sport 3.9L V6 Regular cab. Is mine an RC,CC,R/T, or what? I was just curious.

First 2 = Regular Cab, Club Cab. R/T is a model and I'm sure you probably know 4X4 and 2X4 stand for.

I have a 2003 dakota with seat in back but no door to enter back seat must pull front seat up so what do I have I'm looking for muffler and do not know which one to get I have the 8 ft bed always says short bed or full size confussed looking at flowmaster 40 is that the one I want I want as much horse power but nice loud sound I heard to go with 50 for the horse power but not as loud as 40 HELP

A tape measure could be helpful, Jay. It's most likely that you have a 6.5' bed on a Club Cab, since having a back seat which requires moving a front seat to get in sounds like a Club Cab, and Club Cabs have 6.5' boxes. Quad Cabs have a 5.4' box and rear doors like a sedan. There were 8' box regular cabs early in the '97-'04 run but they're rare.

you have a club cab model. that only comes with a 6 and a half foot bed not and 8 foot bed. Dodge did away with the eight foot bed at the end of the 98 model year as the just did not sell.
