Message: Been running a Black Magic 150 on my V6 for 2 years now. As a single mod, Don't think it does a lot, but as one mod of many, it complements the whole performance. The best thing of all, with the clutch fan gone, there is a lot more room to work, and a lot less busted knuckles.

Message: A lot more room to work. I can get the surpentine belt off in seconds flat and no swearing needed. I put on a generic electric fan (got it for free from a neighbor) with a thermostat controller. I have had it on for about 4 months and even when stopped in traffic have never heard it come on even on hot days. Of course right now, the only thing coming on is the friggin heater!
I found that the engine seemed to spool up faster than when the fan was on. One big thing I noticed is the deafening roar when I start up (cold engine) is gone. As for gas mileage, cant say it makes any difference (but wont make it any worse)
