I have an '02 3.9L 2wd. About 0.5-1.0 seconds following a complete stop I hear and feel a 'thud' seemingly coming from the tranny. Sometimes it is louder than others. It almost sounds like the gear box is heading to low a bit late. Any ideas?

My buddy has the same problem in his 99'. He is having it looked at and I will post when he gets an answer.
