I was just wondering if a 70 series would sound good on my 3.9. is it about stock sound level just deeper, i'm looking for about stock or a little louder. is it sound better with, without, or gutted cat. or if someone has a link to a sound clip that would be great. thanks.

I like the one I put on my 2003. Its louder than stock inside the cab while accelerating, but is almost as quiet as stock when cruising.

Put a 40 in mine, real ricey at first but after it was "broken in" after about 1000 miles, sounds real tough when idling and at moderate accelerations, resonates a lot in the cab though, annoying at first but yah get used too it.

I have the flowmaster 70 series on Gen3 v6, slightly louder than stock, deep rumble, I like it, it's not loud in the cab like a 40 series.

I have it on my 99 3.9 got it a few weeks ago. Didnt like it much at first but love it now.

just curious is the stock exhaust on these trucks kinda loud or is my muffler bad. my parents can hear my exhaust in my house, how about this muffler, does anyone have a sound clip of a 70 or 50 series it would be appreciated.
