 Subject: vibrations on deceleration

My 91 dakota has 160k on it about 90% are highway the problem i have is after I let off the gas at 35mph or above this low booming occures during deceleration. The steering wheel doesnt really vibrate maby a little but not enough to explain the sound. I just had the tires ballenced and tightened the front end and the problem is still there.
Can any one give me any suggestions to figure out what to fix?

Yeah,change the U-Joints,had the same problem,U-joints worn out,Relatively cheap fix though.

i would check your rear transmission mount, i had a very similar problem and found that my mount was bad. also compounding my problem was a crappy set of goodyears that made vibration. but the combination of those two fixed the problem.

2007 dodge dakota vibrates mainly on deceleration ,
have replaced all drive shafts and cv shafts as well
as motor mounts. I have not yet changed trans
mount,front wheel bearings feel solid. Drives nice
just vibrates on deceleration pretty good. Any input
would be appreciated and helpful
