 Subject: 2002 o2 sensor same as whats in a 2000?

I was checking prices on some bosch O2 sensors when i noticed a price difference...
I have a 2002 and seen that the o2 to a 2000 was cheaper but appeared to have a different connection. The thing that wasnt different is the o2 sensor itself it looked exactly the same...
So is the sensor the same with just a different connector or are they 2 different animals?
If they are the same with diff connectors or better yet same exact connection then thats going to save me $100 dollars ($160 2002...$60 2000)
