Subject: Engine Dieing IP: Logged
Message: I've got a 1998 Dak 3.9. It quits while driving, loses spark. It sometimes will re-start easily, sometimes it might take a couple of hours. The coil, dist pick-up, and crank sensor have all been replaced. Any advice would help...

Message: Steve; Another possibility, an intermittent ignition coil, try replacing it and see if the problem goes away. A good tune up may be in order, the long ignition wire from distributor to coil can cause problems. Replace rotor, cap, ignition wires and plugs if you haven't already done so. Good Luck and report back what you find.
