Message: I've rented trailers from Uhaul in the past, but don't remember what their policies are for each trailer.
If you give them a call, they should be able to tell you what size hitch you need for a particular trailer and recommend the best hitch for the truck. U-haul even installs hitches and sets up the wiring too!! It probably wouldn't hurt to get a class IV hitch, then you'll have more flexibility down the road when you need to tow something heavier.

Message: I've used uhaul trailers before too. They do have a hitch selector on their website, you tell what make/model your truck is and they will show you ones that will fit. you can also find out what size trailer you can pull.
Also, I got my hitch at TSC, it was alot cheaper there than anywhere else I called. And at least when I got mine, they installed any hitch they sell for $25.
