Message: I know there is countless discusions about this topic but i was wondering it someone had a sound clip of an exhaust without tips and the same vehicle with 4" tips or something. This would be great if someone could do this to see if it's worth putting on.

Message: I don't think they do I know they do, I know this kid with a geo metro that he put a tractor muffler on it sounded really gay, then he put like a 4" tip (not resonated) on it and it sounds alot better.

not true. they are not going to give you gains but your choice in tips will affect your tone. For instance a intercooled tip will provide a more mellow tone vrs a smooth cut.
