Message: i have a 99 sport 4x4,3.9,ext cab.i just bought it with only 25k and original 31's.these tires suck,no traction.i'm in manitoba so thier is plenty of snow or frozen concrete so i spend most of my time sideways.i'm thinking of going 33's with a lift or maybe 32x11.50 if anyone can tell me if they fit.if i have to lift, whats my cheapest and easiest way?no body lift though.and i have extended warranty till 2005 so can i kiss my warrantey goodbye if i do this?

Message: Why not get better 31's? Why not a body lift? Unless you are going to be doing off-roading where you need clearance I would do a body lift. A body lift won't change the way the truck rides or handles. Since the engine and trans stay in the same place the center of gravity doesn't move much. You can run 31's with the stock height, I think if you go with a 3" body lift or suspension lift you can run 33's. As for a good tire, go to the off-road board, those guys will know what kind of tire you would need.
