Message: Okay first my truck ticks like crazy unless I run 93. Second sometimes when I get on it, it hesitates and pops through what I think is my intake (this didn't start happening until I removed my air intake silencer). And third it sort of does a disieling thing when I shut my truck off. What is going on someone please help.

Message: you could have a bad plenum gasket. Look down into the manifold through the throttle body with the plates open and see if there is oil in the manifold. a little oil film is ok but more than that indicates a leaky plenum gasket.

Message: there was a thread about this in the v-8 section about the ticking. That guy said that he got the stuff you put in to clean out the engine and it was gone. so maybe try that.
I don't know if this would have anything to do with it cause your truck it so new, put the same thing happended with my s-10 about the hesitating and popping. It was actually the catilitic(spelling) converter that got clogged up and wouldn't let exhaust out.
I don't know if any of that will help you, but just a thought.

Message: No oil down inside the throttle body. I just had it inspected and the emissions were fine so I dont think it is my catylitic converter

Message: cryanimal,
The first question I would ask is how many miles on your truck? How long has it been since some basic maintenance has been done?
It sound like you have more than one problem do the following:
Take the throttle body off and clean up the IAC- Intake Air controller, its located on the back side of the Throttle body facing the firewall. Use a torx #25 to remove and replace.
Next give the truck a good tune up distributor rotor, cap, spark plug wires and spark plugs. Consider replacing you O2 sensor as part of this tune up if the truck has more than 60,000 miles on it.
If these have been done take a flashlight and open up the throttle plates on the throttle body and look down at the intake ans see if an oily film is present if so you could have a leaky plenum gasket, if this is the case you could consume a quart or more of oil every thousand miles.
I reread your post, I believe you could have a defective "distributor pickup" known as the camshaft position sensor. You could be experiencing more than one problem.
A leaky fuel injector could case be part of the dieseling.
