Message: I have the same problem. So far i have flushed the rad, also done the reverse heatercore flush that is mentioned on here. New thermostat. New heatercore. The whole works. Once the vehicle is heated up I have a teeny tiny little bit of heat. Not enough to make it comfortable thats for sure. The heat gauge in the truck always heats up to exactly the same spot. Summer, winter no matter what. This seems to be on the low end of the operating range. Im wondering if theres a way to bring this up a bit, possibly produce more heat. By the way, i have a 195 thermostat. If anyone has any tips on how to get more heat out of my dak, it would help.

Message: I had the same problem, for the last couple of years, did everthing like you. Out of furstation I looked at where the hoses were coming from and going to. Turns out the heater hoses going into the heater core were on backwards, so I swithced them and have lots of hot air now. Coolent is suspose to enter from the the bottom of the heater core and exit from the top, the reason for this is so the hot water sits longer in the core and heats it up so the blows hot air from it. If the hoses are on the opposite way, the coolent will travel to fast through the core and it will only produce a small amount of heat. I am not sure how my hoses were switched in the first place, the only thing I can think of is, I had the water pump and hoses replaced at a local garage a couple of years ago and they did not put the hoses back correctly. Hope this helps

Message: thanks for the info. Sure enough I came home today and looked at the heater core hoses and they were backwards. Switched them around and sure enough the heat was there instantly. Must have happened when I had the heater core replaced under warranty.
Once again, thanks for the tip.
