Message: Hey guys, hope you can help me out...
Have 90 Dak 4x4 Sport. Newly rebuilt 3.9(from a reputable source) and 5spd. Stock truck. Am getting 8MPG in city and no power. Can't be dirty fuel because I got a new tank, pump and filter. Could it be my throttle body? I got it from an auto wrecker. If I stomp on the gas, it backfires and still has no power. Sometimes stalls out too. I even tried premium fuel. It's going into the shop on Monday. Maybe too much fuel getting through? It starts up and idles ok.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Message: Actually the 12-sec guy you keep calling DUNNER is DUNER. As in "I ride my motorcyles across the DUNES of Glamis and I tow them to the DUNES with my Turbo Dakota."
No telling who this new Dunner guy is.

Message: Maybe a plugged cat converter? I have seen many vehicles that have no power because of the converter.

Message: Check your injectors. Pull them off and look in the inlet side. It is common that after changing your fuel pump that the higher pressure can loosen the grity rust that gets in your lines from being exposed to the open air (condensation). It can move its way into the injectors and completely clog a few of them. One other thing to check is your belly pan gasket. I know, It happened to me last month.
