MY ? IS THIS,

has anyone heard of bosch O2s not working in our trucks?

the reason i ask is i replaced my O2 with a bosch still had a rich reading, took it back and got another O2[bosch] put that one in still have a rich reading,

now i,m thinking something is wrong with my scanner,3 different O2s all have a rich reading,

took my truck to the local dodge dealer to have a scan done, the tech told me that they have had this problem with bosch and for me to use a mopar O2,the problem is the bosch require 8-10 volts for the heated part of the O2 and our trucks are only 5 volts

hes had this problem with the stratas, intrupids, rams and daks

sorry for the long post

Other problems, such as a bad MAP sensor, can trigger an O2 sensor code. In such a case, replacing the O2 sensor does nothing to help, and people assume the replacements are bad.
