Message: Ok, so I noticed "some" oilyness inside the intake manifold. How much is too much? It doesn't look like a lot, but I've heard it is an indication of a broken pleneum gasket. Also my engine idles and drives a little rough... like it's missing slightly.

Message: So why did you start a new thread for this? Didn't we suggest this in your other thread?
I replaced my plenum gasket and put an aluminum cover on it to replace the steel one. Mine still has a little bit of oil in it, but before it was very black. (Not sure if it is leaking more now and the oil has cleaned up the carbon build-up in my intake or if it is better now.) It didn't make much of a difference with the way mine runs. Changing the intake manifold gaskets made a bigger difference.

Message: Good grief. I started a new thread because the other one was getting out of hand. Besides, everyone kept asking questions which were already answered in my numerous responses. So rather than having to repeat myself over and over again, I decided the heck with it. But then I noticed the oil, so I asked this simple question.
