Subject: Double the Additives IP: Logged
Message: I was thinking about not adding one outlaw octane booster good up to 32 gallons but adding two of them suckers. Now by doing this could I damage anything in my engine or would it clean it twice as good, or should I next time at the pump get like 89 or 93 octane gas instead?

Message: Octane rating is a measurement of the fuels ability to resist pre-detenation, which is combusting under compression before the sparkplug fires. High octane is required for high compression motors to prevent this. A stock compression motor with stock timing will gain nothing from high octain. High octain fuel will burn a little hotter and at substained highway speeds will essentually melt your cat.convertor.....Injector cleaner is clean kerosene, kerosene is clean diesel and you can find web sites on the proper recipes by typing "homemade fuel additives" and hitting "search".
