Message: I don't think that dropping the front or using slightly bigger tires is going to solve your problem. To fill the wheel wells your going to have to get bigger rims. Your right 20" rims and tires are very pricey. 16 or 17 inch would drastically improve your looks and should not cost as much. Look at the difference between a stock 2WD Dak with 15" rims compared to the ones with 16". The 16's look much better.

Message: I can appreciate that, but two things are in the way:
1) rims are not cheap, no matter how I look at it. I just bough some American Racing rims (15 inch) the black ones made from steel because I got a really good deal
2) I am in Canada, so whatever the price is I need to practically double it for the exchange rate, delivery and brokerage fees. So you can see I am somewhat hamstringed.
So, I need to save the pennies, do as much as I can in the home-brew category (did you see the traction bars? I made them myself) and wait the ever important wait.
In the meantime, I can get some proper sized tires which wont break the bank see what the spring will bring.
