Yes, Josh, I have a lot of machining experience and while my automotive experience is a bit antiquated, I'm getting up to speed very quickly. Unfortunately, I have more ideas for projects than I have time.
Almost any good machinist can do the job for, but they should really understand what you want. No offense, but I really cringe when hear people say that they do the job by hand. However, I also admire their efforts to improve and learn.
When I get the chance, I'm going to do one by hand and see how it compares.

lol...it won't look nearly as pretty, that's for sure. Especially using a Dremel since they loooove to jump after making contact with the metal which smacks them into another section leaving a nice gouge. I was REEEAAALLY wanting to get my new throttle body on the last time and I didn't want to wait for my dad to take it in to work so I did it myself...I definitely should have waited.

Josh, Nice work on the v6 throttlebody, cutting the horns off and taking out the torque step, did you notice much improvement when you did this, I went directly to the v8 throttle body at first. I ran it a while then, then cut off the air horns and left the torque step in, it made a big difference.

I noticed a bit of a difference... I left a lil on the torque step I think, but I didn't wanna take that dremel too far. The next one I do is definitely gonna be machined.

What did you have in mind? Keep in mind that there is no offer to do routine TB mods.
