I know you probably get this question, but i cant find it in the forums... is there a 3.7L supercharger for the dakotas... or will the one for the liberty work... or will the one for a 4.7 work? What mods need to be done if so for liberty or 4.7? If i put on the throttle body from a 4.7 to my 3.7, will i need to modify the 4.7 Supercharger?

I have been looking for one too. I'm pretty much positive that there isn't one specifically for the dakota 3.7Liter. I don't know if the one for the Liberty would work, but I had wondered that myself previously and would love to hear the answer.

i've heard the guys over at KRC performance are supposed to be working on one. if you wanted to ask anyone about a blower setup you should go to them. krcperformance.com

if the 3.7 is a 4.7 with out 2 cylinders theres no reason why the 4.7 charger wouldent work. u may have to shoerten the intake tube but thats about it

the 3.7 isnt a cut down 4.7, unlike the 3.9 to the 5.2. the 3.7 and 4.7 are the same type of basic layout and design, but totally different bore & stroke etc.

The bore is the same at 3.66 inches. The stroke is what is different. The 3.7 is 3.57 and the 4.7 is 3.40. The 3.7 is 9.6:1 compression while the 4.7 is 9.0:1. Here is a link that with specs it also includes a power curve chart for both engines.
