About a week ago my front driver side Caliber locked up, and is now frozen. i bought the truck used. is there anything i can do, or am i just boned, and i have to fix it myself.

Depending on when the original owner purchased the truck it might still be under factory warrenty. The dealer will be able to punch in the vin and tell you if it's covered.
