 Subject: Air Hats for V8 throttle Body

Can anyone answer this question? I have upgraded my throttle body to a V8 (Stock). Was wondering if i have to replace my V6 360 AirIntake Hat to match the V8 Throttle body? If anyone can answer this question, i would appriciate it. thanks.

You shouldn't have to as long as it's a stock throttle body... BUT some aftermarket type of tb's will need extra rubber washers to seal off the air hat because some of the tb's out there are designed more for the air filter going onto the tb, so they have sort of a lip sticking up that won't allow the air hat to seal off with the tb which is why they need the more washers to seal off correctly...
