Subject: a/c clutch IP: Logged
Message: I have done all the checks as per Haynes. All switches and clutch have power and there is gas as well. The system is working just blowing vent temp. air? The clutch will not cycle on.I've checked all fuses power dist. box EVERYTHING possible to my knowledge. Anyone had this problem and possibly a fix. Rather not take it to the dealer to do the same thing I've done and charge me for it. And to boot want to put in a whole new system.

Message: Have you put pressure gauges on it? There can still be refrigerent in there but if the pressure isn't high enough the low pressure cut off swtich will disable the clutch.

Message: Have you checked the A/C relay in the 'dist box '
Have you tried " bypassing " the ' low pressure '
sensor/switch in the a/c line
closure should force clutch on
leave on and see if you get [ cool air ].
If not it is low on refridgerant .
If doesn't activate clutch - relay bad or ?
