Subject: squeaks & creaks from underneath IP: Logged
Message: To cure a creaking Dak get underneath and loosten cab mounting bolts one at a time,slightly raise body using bottle jack and blocks of wood,spray silicone lubricant into rubber mountings,lower and remove jack,tighten bolts,wipe of any excess lubricant.Repeat on all four bolts.Result;silent running.

Message: and I suppose that lubeing the cab mount bolts will cure a squeeky shock isolator or a squeeky ball joint or a squeeky brake rotor/pad, or a squeeky "A" arm mount or a squeeky idler arm or a squeeky anti sway bar mount or a ...........
damm another guy that thinks his cure for his particular problem will cure it for others with simular but not the same problem, whats it like to be know it all?

Message: No it was'nt meant to give the impression that it would cure all noises from underneath.Just a little tip that worked for me.
Makes me wish I'd kept quiet.
