Subject: difference in v-6 engines?

i am picking up my 2004 dak today with the v-6 engine. i was wondering what years the engines changed hp and torque numbers and what all thought of the engine offered on 04. what milage and life can i expect from this engine as well as what maintneence procedures do i need to do (other than spark plugs oil) to keep it running great. thanks guys

'04 went from the OHV 3.9 to the SOHC 3.7. 2 totally different engines. as far as longevity on the 3.7, i guess time will tell. i hope it's at least as durable as the 3.9's.

Main durability may be there , But
Don't forget the cam belt/belts
( not sure if they only use one for both or one each )
Probably needs replace about every 50,000 ?
Should be mentioned in your " maintenance manual "
