Message: I just installed my new intake. I have to get emissions tested in December. The box that the K&N filter came in had a sticker stating: "Intended for off-road & racing, not intended for emissions controlled vehicles." Should I throw the stock one back in for the testing, or will it get by?

Message: What intake system did you buy, K&N FIJK, Mopar, Intense Performance, QuickD, Airaid?? The K&N kit (for sure) and the Mopar (I think) come with a CARB sticker for the system. The other three companies mentioned above do not have this making the kits cheaper. This applies to vehicles in certain states in the U.S. where a visual inspection is done. If there is no visual inspection then it doesn't matter what is under the hood (to an extent). Find out what Ontario's laws say about after market. Call K&N, they might be able to help. Worst case, take 10 minutes and put the stock one on for the test.

Message: I don't no if the intake will affect your emissions but let us know. I've got mine in February. I've also replaced my cat and muffler so I'm a little nervous about the test.
Has anyone had the truck tested with the upgrades on? What are the results?

Message: I've got the Quick D. I was in a Truck Performance shop yesterday and showed it to the guy there, he said he really didn't think I would have a problem, but I will let you guys know.
