Message: I just changed one of those myself a couple months ago on my
99 3.9.
According to the FSM the procedure is to first torque the bolts in
sequence to 12 in lbs, going up in 12 in lb increments until you
are at 72 in lbs. The final torque is then 12 ft. lbs.

Message: Intake to head 12 to 14 foot pounds
pletium cover 12 to 16 foot pounds
start in center, jump accross than back and work
your way to the ends
Its always a good idea to step up 4 than 8 than 12
working from the center out to the ends just like
you do with a head or any bolt dont take it right
to the recomended torque in 1 shot
