I started getting a high rpm miss on my 97 2 wheel drive v6 dak, this problem would not give me any code or set the MIL light. After reading what sensors were used by the PCM during WOT and using my scan tool, I was able to isolate the problem to the Camshaft Position sensor. When I went to NAPA to get the part, the didn't even list one for the DAK. They had it listed as a distributor pickup-LOL

I have the EZ Link OBD-II Scanner from autocheckup.com, it's a good scanner to have for 96 or newer daks that have the obd-2 format. This scanner is 219.00, it's already paid for itself. Check out the site, they are good to do business with.

i got one of those and it's paid for itself as well
i hated being at the mercy of the dealer to find out what caused my mil to come one or some idiot at autozone who didn't have the correct code book to look anything up that he found
i went to autozone once with a mil and the clown behind the counter scans my truck and then tells me oh your glowplugs are bad, i never went there again

My autoxray has been as handy as a pocket on a shirt. With 3 vehicles that are obd2 it is indespensible. I just wish that it would give the injector sync reading.

This scanner helped solve a problem on my wife's Chrysler Sebring. Xmr-I wished that Autoxray scanner I have would do fuel sync. I don't think Autoxray makes a scanner that checks fuel sync. I believe that only the Snapon and DRB3 are the only scanners to do so.
Anothermark-I hope you didn't have any problems changing the glow plugs in your Dak.
