 Subject: V8 TB swap - What year?

I have a 92 Dodge Dakota V6 4X4. I have located a 92 V8 TB from a 92 Dakota. Will this bolt on without modification?
Also, do I need to change the throttle cable or can I mod the V8 TB for the V6 cable? I have cruise control and want to retain.
Will the V8 TB swap affect low speed performance? I off road with this and enjoy the ability to run at low rpm's.
Motor is stock.

92 to 95 V8 body will work EGR type
may have to change cable use all your V6 sensors
because you know there good
Low end will be the same with the gains noticeable
2000 rpm and up
