Hey, anyone from KRC or close buddies of know if you guys will be supporting the new 3.7 engine? Im might be getting one today, if the dealers get their head out of there ass. Anyways, any information will be helpful. I just see potential out of this new engine, we hardly know about. Thanx.

Hey, we will be supporting it. I've got one myself now in my Liberty.

I like it so far. Revvy like the 4.7, definitely needs gears. My Liberty has 3.73's and a five-speed, that works pretty well. I think 4.10's would be better. If you get a 3.7 auto Dak, I wouldn't think twice about going 4.10's or even 4.56. It cruises very nicely at 3,000.

We're going to work on a blower kit here shortly.

ALRIGHT! Its kool that you will be picking up this engine. I check you website everyday for new stuff. I'm still waiting for numbers off of you T/T R/T setup. I got my truck yesterday. Its a 04 RC 3.7 5 speed w/3.21 gears. So far, I love it, yes it revs, but i haven't gone about 4k yet due to I want to break it in first, instead of truely breaking it. What is the redline for this engine? I was going to buy an ebay intake, but I'll wait and save the money for something I know will throw down numbers. Hope to see parts soon. Thanx once again. Take care.

The max engine speed for the 3.7 is 5800 rpm. There is a guy that posted on another site that he broke a valve spring on an 04 Dak 3.7 with 8000 mile on it. I'm not sure how high he reved it. Here is a jeep sight with the specs on the 3.7 along with a power curve chart. It stops making HP at 5200 in stock form. Notice the torque curve. Its pretty flat. Alot of people are saying how the 3.9 makes more torque down low. I doubt it. The 3.7 is making 220 ft/lbs at 2400 rpm and making its max of 235 from 3600 thru 4400 rpm.
