What is the normal idle for your 3.9L? Idle at a redlight and when you are in park or neutral. I am asking because i think something mgiht be up with my truck, the idle seems lower than it previously was, although i cant be sure becuase i never payed much attention. At a redlight and park i seem to have an idle of 600-800 RPMs.

600 in drive, about 700-750 in neutral.

Allright so i guess things are normal. The reason i started to pay attention is becuase my engine totally cut out on me when i put it in drive today. I guess if it happens again soon i will have it checked out or get things checked when i get an oil change in abotu 500 miles
