Message: I just bought my second Dakota a 2001, CC with automatic and overdrive it has 35,000 miles on it. Im trying to decide should I get the Chrysler extended waranty for 1,000.00 which is good for 6 years or 60,000 miles. The truck seems to be in great shape.

Message: hmm 1,000 is a pretty cheap insurance policy, god forbid anything goes wrong with it until you hit 60k
are you handy with tools? can you do your own repair work? if you need or want that dealer comfort and potential free parts then i'd go for it, personally i wouldn't because i like doing my own work and making sure any repairs are done right the first time, i don't think much of dealer service departments
