Not many places to really try to hit top speed here in the hill country but i took my '99 with the 3.55's and an intake and flowmaster up to about 110 before i chickened out on a super tight curve.

How do you know what the speed limiter is set at, if you even have one? I have a 3.9 with an auto tranny and would like to know if I have a speed limiter

Most Dakotas have the factory PCM witch sets the top speed limiter at 115. I have the performance PCM, and clocked it at 135, there was still power, but I ran outta room. Will try again next time the runway is closed. Be sure to buy nice tires if your gonna try it, see the speed rating and don't pass it. You don't want a blow out at those speeds.

I've done 185kmh (115.6mph), with the help of mexican overdrive, she kept it but there was no more go. This was on my Goodyear UltraGrips at -30'C (-22'F). The Transcanada Highway is a wonderful thing.
