So, what's up with the shock whenever I get out of my truck? I've seen a thread about this a few months ago, but nobody seemed to have a solution aside from "Take your shock like a man". Is it the material Dodge uses for the seats? Will aftermarket cloth seats be any better?

I think the solution was to keep holding onto the door as you get out. That way it will ground out. Don't step out of the truck and reach back to close the door. Just hold it the whole time you're getting out.

Or, you could get a couple of those rubber
strips with the wire through them to hang
under your truck - these keep the truck
grounded.

I know how you feel..completely. Every time i get out of my dak..ZAP!!!! I don't get it either. My girlfriend no longer shuts the door. She just gets out and leaves because she's so afraid to get shocked. It doesn't hurt or nothin but it's just down right annoying. Oh ya, and what if your carring some stuff and then you get shocked. Ummmm... thats the worst.
