Has anyone else done a custom console setup in their Gen. III dakotas other than Chuck's Intense '99 Dakota? I am trying to get ideas on how I want to build mine!

You can always do what I did and check out the sport truck sites. They have quite a few photos showing different shape and configuration consoles. once you decide on a basic design, it's a simple matter of adaptation.

Check out the following sites for ideas:

Hey intense99dak, how much did you spend building your console and how close does your shifter get to the left piece of the console (gauge part) in first and second gear?

As I mentioned in my other post, I'm guessing I spent about $80 - $100 for materials to build the console. That is not including the gauge, sub and neoprene.

When my shiter is in 1st and 2nd gear, it is about 2" away from the part of the console where the gauge is. But remember I have the Hurst shifter and the shifter arm is a little more to the right than the stock shifter arm.
