powdercoated?...lookin to buy some R/T
wheels and have them black, or gun metal
color...
If so, how much does it cost to have done?

I've seen a few people paint (not sure if they painted) at either rate, they were black on the MotorSport looking trucks with the goodyears with yellow lettering.... anyway... yeah

I have a '02 Dakota Sport and have the 16x8 wheels and yellow letter Goodyear tires that came on the '01 Motorsports Edition. I was going to powdercoat my wheels (black) but decided not to because they will fade over time. Although a UV protective coating can be put on over the color, I'm not sure how effective it is, or how long it will last. I think I'm going to wait a while and then have them painted black. I think that's a better way to go. The red truck with black wheels and the yellow letter tires looks cool.

Maybe try anodizing the wheels? That color shouldnt fade over time.

You can buy black rims pretty cheap..prolly cheaper than having yours painted

check with your friendly(um, what?) dodge dealership. They should have info about the rims they have on the motorsport edition.
