Is it possible to put 31 inch tires on a 97-99 dakota club cab with out lifting it? and if it is, is there alot,if any rubbing and how does it look?? thanks for the help. (My friend put 33's on his f-150 without any lift and it works fine).

I have a 99 4x4 club cab and just put Mickey Thompson Baja Claws 31/10.5's on it, they fit perfectly nooooo rubbing.......but then again my truck came with 31's stock. Hope that helps

I had 31's on my 4x2 and they only rubbed when I hit big dips. Other than that it was fine.

I used to have a 98 dakota 4x2 sport V6, I put on 31x10.50 bfg mud tires and they rubbed against the frame at "full lock". the turning radius is 36 feet which is pretty good so I solved the problem by just not turning the wheel all the way. they also bottomed out under very heavy compression.
Then I traded in the truck for a 99 4x4 V8 and the mudders fit like a charm!
(sad story with a happy ending, heheh)

I was looking for some help on stock height for a 4x2 1999 Dakota R/T and found this topic..
I purchased mine from a guy that didnt like a "hard" suspension and he had lowered the front.
Do you guys have any information on the stock height for this Dakota? and how I should measure it?
