I have a 97 dakota that I bought from a one owner person. I got a hell of a deal on it and I was just wondering if anybody here has had problems with the front bumper fading in spots. thanks

my 97 bumper faded and started to peel dealer repainted under warranty only lasted about six months i took it back to the dealer and the bumper was replaced with a new one. there was a problem with the type of paint the factory used.

Thanks man. Just wondering if anybody else had the same prob. guess so. I will be gettiong mine fixed by my uncle he is the manager of Cummins diesel in Christiansburg VA. He said that it would be no prob to fix. thanks man for replying. See I bought My dakota from a one owner person and it only had 44,000 miles on it and just was wondering if he mistreated it but I guess not. Thanks man!!!! Alot.
