Is it illegal to tint your winshield? Or is there a certain percent you can tint it to? Does anyone have theirs tinted and have you gotten pulled over for it?

I don't know if each state is different or not, I was told in MI if you have a letter from your eye-doctor, you can, but if you get pulled over in a car without the windshield being tinted you get fined.

Each state is differnet in their laws, but as a general rule of thumb....There is a small line on both sides of your windshield. Very small, and about 6 to 8 inches down from the top. It will have some letters under the line, something like "isa" or some crap like that. That line is the lower limit of where you can safely apply a tint across the top. You can't have tint on your windshield anywhere but there. You should still check out the state laws.
