Message: any local body shop should do it, if you
remove the handles and mirrors yourself, they
should charge less labor. Some shops wont
guarantee the paint cause handles get
scratched by keys etc.

How do you remove the door handles and mirrors tho? Do you have to rip apart the inside of the door?
thanks.

Message: for like $200 bucks per door, you could have
the handles shaved and doors painted...might
be a better choice in the long run, if your going
for a custom look.

Message: some people sand them but I talked to a guy who said you just use a really sticky primer. He also used it on his stock mirrors. He has had his for about a year and hasn't had any scratches.

Message: DakSport,
I asked the same question about window cranks awhile back heres one of the answers I got, "use a metal coat hange with a bent tip to remove the clip that holds them on.
the secrete to putting them back on is putting the clip on the handle, just as it would be when it is all together, and then simply push it on." I forgot who gave me this info, thanks to whoever it was and I hope it helps you out.
