hey any one have a genII and put a custom steering wheel on it? if so where did you buy the kit or what did you use? cause all the companys ive looked at dont sell one because there is a air bag in the steering wheel.

nobody makes an aftermarket steering wheel because it would be too expensive to make A wheel that has an air bag in it,the air bags ARE NOT CHEAP. and also the liability involved, ( if the airbag doesn't open when needed)that would be A heafty lawsuit.
I would love to put A Grant wheel in my GENII. I have owned Grants in the past.It's A realt nice wheel.

I have a 98 dakota and have found a company that will upgrade your steering wheel, if you check out there website you can see what they do, but you have to send them your wheel, or you could get a old one out of a junk yard. The company is american-stitches.com, they do real NICE work check them out
