Subject: Moisture in clear corners... IP: Logged
Message: This may sound stupid,,but what's the best way to keep the clear corners from fogging up?
Only one does it,,and it drives me crazy.
Thanks

Message: Only one of mine does it too. Its my left one. I was going to take it off, and see if I need to put any silicone on it.

Message: I'm trying to remember some science, and see if I should have the air cool, or warm inside the lense before I put it on,,so it won't condense,,,of course if I have a leak (I assume) it won't matter.

Message: One of my stock lenses used to do that, but the clears are okay so far. Is the rubber stripping in place with all the tabs inserted? I powerwash mine a lot, up here we have a LOT of salt, I'm thiking water could get in that way if the seal isn't firmly in place.

Message: Drill a 1/8" hole in the far back bottom of housing, this will allow air and heat to escape, and at this location water will never get inside due to because the hole is on the far back bottom side. I used this method on my other vehicles.. and behold it works..

Message: Lesley, your new clears are vented. Did you see those small rubber hoses on the backside when you wrestled with the L & R stickers on the socket holes?
