Where is a cheap place to pick up one of those lighted DODGE hood emblems. Think it might intimidate those who get in front of me only to drive slow as hell LOL

Go to www.truckandvanland.com I couldn't find the emblem on the web site but I do know they have them in stock cause I was there the other day and saw them there. So give them a call.

thats it but i think on most things JC Whitney is a big rip off especially on shipping. Was hoping to find it elsewhere

Art,
What did you think of the emblem? I have thought about getting one, but didn't know how it would look. Did you replace the stock one in the hood? How tough was the install? Does it come on with the lights or do you have to put in a separate switch? Thanks.

Bill, yes I replaced the original on the hood,it looks just like the original during the day and I wired it to the parking lights so when you turn on your parking lights it lights up the rams head green and when you turn your alarm on and off it flashes,looks very sharp at night,install was kinda of a hassle on mine,mine is a 01,I had to remove the top latch to fish the wires through and then fish them throuh the hood`s double lining,there was no easy way to drill and use the bolts that come with it so I just used the sticky tape that come on it,had to grind away the nuts that come on the emblem so it would sit flat on the hood,my original emblom was just glued on as well

Thanks for the information Art. I too have an 01 and I'm not sure I want to get into grinding and stuff in the winter, maybe when the weather warms up. Thanks for the help.
