I'm looking at a set of 18x9" wheels and was going to get 255/55-18 tires for them. Would I have any rubbing problems with my 3" drop in the front?

I just installed a set of Moda R7 18X8.5" wheels with Pirelli Scorpian 255/55/18 and I have a 2" drop in the front. I had to roll the fenders and beat the back of the fender well and I still have a rubbing problem in the rear of the front fenders. I need to take a sledge hammer to it and do more "persuasion" My trick is a '95

I have a 2" drop in front with 18x9's with the scorpions 255/55/18 with no rubbing and i have 6" of backspacing with the rt flares.
