I had the big ugly chrome mirrors on my last truck 95 ram. I orded a pair of street scene electrics they come black and I left them that way. they can be painted if you want to.they were about 180.00 easy to install wire harness clips right in to factory clips. they look good. hope this helps.

Careful, on '01 and up they changed the connector and the aftermarket units don't plug right in. You have to splic the factory connector onto the mirror harness.
Been there, done that last weekend. Street Scene knows about it and can give you the wiring cross reference if needed.

The mirrors from a gennIII dakota will not fit a genII. I tried to do it once. Now I have some sport mirrors for a newer dakota for sale.
