Got a nice tax return check coming soon, and right on time too...need new tires. I want to get wheels and tires at the same time. I have stock 15 inch wheels on there now. I am looking for any kinds of input from anyone on wheel size. I am thinking about 17's. I know for a fact I am staying away from anything larger than that...we drive trucks, not BMW's or Honda's. I keep seeing 20's and larger on trucks and SUV's and I think it looks very taco and crappy. Do any of you guys have 16's or 17's? What is your input and feel on what you have? What size tires are you running on your trucks? Just asking and want to see what kind of a response I get. Thanks

I've got a 01 Quad Cab 4x4 with 16's, I'm gonna put on R/T 17's. The dealer can get them for $160 CDN each and the rubber is $190 each.
I'd like to go with a nice set of 18's but for the price the R/T's look good to me.

i had 17's on mine for 2 years, then i got the dubs. the 17's didnt fill the massive wheel well the dodges have, even with my 4/6 drop. when i look at my truck sometimes the wheelwell makes the 20s look like 18's.
i would do the 17's if you dont want to go any bigger. they will also handle better, because of the smaller sidewall.

Upgrading from factory 15's to 16's isnt worth the cost of the rims plus tires...might as well do something thats going to be atleast noticeable for your buck.
These are 17s and i still kinda wish i went bigger
