Subject: ideas for switch location? IP: Logged
Message: Anyone have a creative idea for where to instal some switches? I have a 99. I was thinking about trying the plate where the aux power and cig. lighter are. I think that might look a bit weird. I only need one switch for now, but maybe I'll put in some more later. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks guys!

Message: Do you have bucket seats or the front bench? I have the bucket seats and installed them in the center console.

Message: I have a full bench with stick shift so theres not that much room, what i did was create a little box that fits under the bench (in the middle) I have 2 paddle switches that activate the interior and exterior neon. People dont even know its there and its super easy to reach. Thinking of doing some in the headliner, where others have the overhead console, for my upcoming NOS system with the saftey conver on it (it will look like a fighter cockpit ;-) ). I have also seen small swithces on the A-Piller. Be creative!

Message: I put my five switches in my center console right next to my cd changer. I built a little box for them so all of the wires are hidden. I have a '02 cc with buckets.

Message: yeah I was thinking about that clip... but I kinda like that when I'm on the New York Thruway. I could be persuaded to remove it if I thought I could make a nice panel... hmm, I'll have to work on that one.
As for the center console idea, that won't work for me b/c I don't have one! :) That seems to be a popular spot though. I'll keep looking!
Thanks everyone!
