A bumper cover is for the front only, all it is is a cover made from some kind of flex plastic to fit specific vehicles, all you do is remove the lwr spoiler if you have one and slip the cover over the remaining bumper, and bolt it down according to directions, not much hardware, pretty easy. and you paint usually after you do the trial fit. My 2002 Dak quad cab came with one from the factory, pretty cool.

Actually bumper covers are available for front and rear bumpers. Xenon makes such a kit out of urethane. See the link below for some pictures.

rear bumper is a roll pan, not a bumper cover.
It only covers up the frame

Xenon does make a bumper cover that slips over your factory bumper. You can see it at www.teamxenon.com. It's the only company I know of that makes a rear cover, everyone else just makes roll pans.
