But I'm really looking for the 'Topgun' like what's for the rams,,,looks sweet/sporty. Doesn't have that tooooo practical/old guy (no offense anyone) look to it.

Message: I have the ARE Z-series cap on my Dak. I think it looks excellent with the frameless windows all around, blends in well with the body style of the Dak. Click the thumb & there's a side profile pic.
I had an ARE cap on a 4X4 chevy shortbed for 12 years with no problems.

Message: D,
Suburban Caps in Mahwah, NJ. $1400. They're only available with the 3 frameless windows, 2 on the sides with the rear halves that screw out and the rear window. The rear window is a solid piece of glass that latches securely just like the cab doors. Didn't really want to spend that much cash on a cap but when I saw this one it changed my mind.

Message: conig,
I did not go with the open element because I had already bought the K&N Drop-in. The stock airhat seemed to be too restrictive, and it also acts like a big heat-sink.
If I opened the hood after a drive, the stock airhat was always very hot. That goes against the idea of a "Cold-air" intake when the intake tubes actually heat the air.
Anyway, I used a fernco rubber elbow, a short piece of PVC, and a fernco coupler to connect to the stock airbox. Inside the stock airbox, I put a 4" plastic drainage connector that comes out the front hole. To this I attached a 4" aluminum duct.
The aluminum duct attaches to a plastic drainage connector that is 4" round on one end, and 3" x 4" at the grille end.
I had to cut a slit in the front end to get it to fit around the a/c lines.
I then made an aluminum heat shield out of a oven liner (folded over , and its approx 9"x11") I again cut slots in the bottom to fit over the a/c lines, and covered any sharp edges with black duct tape. The shield is held in place by friction against the radiator at the front, the airbox at the rear, and using the slots against the a/c lines.
While I have not run my truck at the track to get any measured improvements, the truck seems to perform better, and I like the intake sound ! I also believe that mileage has improved by about 1 mpg. The total cost of the intake was ~ $30 excluding the K&N Drop-in.
Here are some intake pictures from the top and front:
